Marbella is famous for its beautiful coastline, and from the apartment you are only a short walk from the Mediterranean Sea. The nearest beaches are approximately 400 metres away, but there are many different options to choose from – lively beaches with restaurants and chiringuitos, quieter places to relax, beach clubs and swimming pools. Below you will find our recommendations to help you choose the perfect place for your day by the sea.
Closest Beach – Amàre Beach
Amàre Beach is the closest beach to the apartment, located approximately 8 minutes walking distance and easily reachable on foot.
It is a convenient choice if you want to enjoy the beach without travelling by car. The beachfront area offers a beautiful Mediterranean setting and a relaxed atmosphere.
During the day, Amàre Beach often features live music or a DJ, creating a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere while you enjoy the sun and the sea.
The beachfront restaurant also offers excellent cuisine, making it a great place to combine a day at the beach with lunch, drinks or a relaxing afternoon by the sea.

Puente Romano Beach & Chiringuito
For a different beach experience, we recommend the beach at Puente Romano, one of Marbella’s most beautiful and elegant seaside areas.
Here you can enjoy the Mediterranean Sea together with the relaxed atmosphere of a traditional chiringuito – a Spanish beach restaurant. It is a great choice for spending the day by the sea, having lunch or enjoying a drink directly on the beach.
If you choose to walk there, the journey itself is part of the experience. The route takes you along Marbella’s beautiful seafront promenade and coastline, making it an exceptionally scenic and enjoyable walk by the Mediterranean Sea.

Playa de Punta Paloma
If you are looking for a completely different beach experience, Playa de Punta Paloma is a beautiful destination for a day trip from Marbella.
Known for its spectacular natural surroundings, wide sandy beach and impressive dunes, Punta Paloma feels much wilder and more untouched than the beaches in Marbella. It is a wonderful place to enjoy the sea, nature and a more peaceful atmosphere away from the busy resort areas.
As Punta Paloma is located further from Marbella, we recommend visiting by car and combining it with a day trip along the coast.

Recommended Seafood Restaurant – El Mirlo
While visiting Punta Paloma, we highly recommend stopping for lunch at El Mirlo, a beautiful and iconic restaurant hidden among the dunes and surrounded by the wild natural landscape of the Tarifa coastline.
The restaurant is particularly known for its fresh local fish and seafood, red almadraba tuna and traditional Cádiz-style rice dishes. Its terraces offer wonderful views towards the sea and, on clear days, across the Strait of Gibraltar towards Africa.
It is a perfect place to combine with your visit to Punta Paloma – enjoy the dunes and the beach first and then stop for a long Mediterranean lunch in this very special setting.
We recommend making a reservation in advance, especially during the summer season.
Beaches Around La Plage Casanis
This area is one of our favourite places for a beach day in Marbella. It offers a long stretch of beautiful sandy coastline where you can walk along the beach and choose from several different places to spend the day.
The area includes Playa Real de Zaragoza and Playa de Las Chapas, with several beach restaurants and chiringuitos along the coast, including La Plage Casanis and Lido Beach.
La Plage Casanis is perfect if you are looking for a more stylish beach-club experience. It offers sunbeds, Balinese beds and VIP areas directly by the sea, together with Mediterranean cuisine, cocktails and music. The atmosphere becomes livelier later in the day, with regular DJ and sunset events.
Lido Beach offers a more relaxed beachfront atmosphere, with sunbeds and a restaurant where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, drinks, fish, meat and other casual dishes overlooking the Mediterranean.
The surrounding beaches are also a great choice if you simply want to enjoy the sand and sea without spending the day at a beach club. Playa de Las Chapas is known for its golden sand and relaxed atmosphere and offers facilities including parking, showers, sunbed and parasol rental.
One of the nicest things about this area is the freedom to explore. You can walk along the coastline, stop for a swim, choose a chiringuito for lunch or drinks, and simply find the part of the beach that you like the most.
🚗 NAVIGATE TO BEACHES AROUND LA PLAGE CASANIS
Sotogrande – Pool, Beach & Dinner
Sotogrande is a wonderful destination for a day trip from Marbella. The area is known for its beautiful marina, elegant atmosphere and lovely beaches, so it is worth spending the whole day here.
For those who prefer swimming pools and relaxing on grass rather than spending the entire day on the sand, there is a beautiful pool area where you can swim, relax and enjoy the surroundings.
You can combine a relaxing day by the pool with a walk around Sotogrande Marina or a visit to one of the nearby beaches.
To finish the day, we recommend staying in Sotogrande for dinner. In the evening, you can visit a very special restaurant in a beautiful setting – a perfect way to end your day trip before returning to Marbella.
Beachfront Pool & Wellness – Champneys Spa Marbella
If you love being by the sea but prefer a swimming pool and sun loungers instead of spending the day on the sand, this is a wonderful option.
Located directly by the Mediterranean, the resort combines a beautiful beachfront pool area with easy access to the beach, allowing you to enjoy the sea views and coastal atmosphere without having to spend the day on the sand.
For an even more relaxing experience, you can combine your pool day with a visit to Champneys Spa Marbella – the first Champneys spa outside the UK. The wellness facilities include an indoor swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool and sauna, together with a selection of spa and wellness treatments.
