Marbella offers everything from local markets and traditional shops to modern shopping centres and some of the most exclusive luxury boutiques on the Costa del Sol. Whether you need groceries for the apartment, would like to discover a traditional local market or spend an afternoon shopping in Puerto Banús, below you will find our recommendations.
Supermarkets
For everyday shopping, Marbella offers a wide choice of supermarkets where you can buy groceries and everything you may need during your stay.
Closest Supermarket – DIA
The closest supermarket to the apartment is DIA - it offers a good selection of fresh products, including fresh fish and seafood, fruit, vegetables and other groceries. There is also an in-store bakery for fresh bread and pastries and orange juice machine where you can prepare freshly squeezed juice.
Marbella Monday Market
For a more local shopping experience, visit Marbella's traditional Monday street market. It is a lively place where locals shop for fresh fruit and vegetables, olives, spices and other food products, as well as clothes, shoes, accessories, household items and many other goods.
The market is particularly enjoyable in the morning and offers a completely different experience from Marbella's modern shops and shopping centres.

Shopping Centres
If you prefer to have many shops in one place, Marbella offers modern shopping centres with fashion, beauty, electronics, restaurants and other services.
One of the main shopping destinations is La Cañada Shopping Centre, where you can easily spend several hours shopping, have lunch or simply enjoy some time indoors, especially during the hot summer months.

Shopping in Marbella Old Town
Shopping in Marbella's Old Town is an experience in itself. Wander through the beautiful narrow streets around Plaza de los Naranjos and discover small boutiques, Spanish fashion, jewellery, accessories, gifts and local shops.
This is a wonderful option if you prefer individual boutiques to large shopping centres. Combine your shopping with a coffee, tapas or dinner in one of the many restaurants hidden among the historic streets.

Puerto Banús Marina
Puerto Banús is much more than a shopping destination. It is one of the most famous luxury marinas on the Costa del Sol, where designer boutiques and jewellery stores line the streets around a harbour filled with impressive yachts.
It is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon walking around the marina, shopping, having lunch or simply enjoying a drink on one of the terraces overlooking the harbour.
Go to Puerto Banús by Boat
Instead of driving to Puerto Banús, you can make the journey itself part of your day out. Passenger boats connect Marbella's central marina with Puerto Banús, allowing you to enjoy beautiful views of Marbella and the Mediterranean coastline along the way.
The first boat leaves Marbella at 11:00 and then runs approximately every hour until 19:00. The catamarans have seating, toilets, a shaded upper deck, sunbathing nets and a bar serving drinks and snacks.
You can spend the afternoon exploring Puerto Banús, shopping, having lunch or drinks by the marina and then return to Marbella by boat.

El Corte Inglés – Puerto Banús
Just a short walk from Puerto Banús marina you will find El Corte Inglés Marbella, one of the largest and most prestigious department stores in Spain.
It is an excellent choice if you want many brands under one roof, offering fashion and designer labels, cosmetics, perfumes, jewellery, accessories and many other departments. It can easily be combined with a visit to the marina and the luxury boutiques of Puerto Banús.
